I was a newly hired personal assistant to a “Doctor-Priest”. One of my first assignments was to get copies of all of his degrees because they had been lost in a tragic fire. So, for the record, there has not been, nor is there a San Gabriel Univeristy so that hypothetical Ph.D. – in psychology is completely made up.
This is fun, the California Christian Univeristy that he got a Dr. of Sacred Theology (was that for the “Doctor-or Priest?”- merged in 1980 (the year he “received” that degree) and was later closed. But here is where you can buy a phony degree with their name on it.
An honorary doctorate from California American University in 1980 didn’t happen because it wasn’t founded yet. (It’s amazing how much internet searches have changed in the last 15 years)
International Reform University – Master of Divinity – well here’s a story about them. and the organization behind the founder, who of course has ties to he who shall remain nameless for now.
He also had me verify former companies, which again was just a way to ensure he didn’t leave a paper trail that could be discovered. He certified himself in a niche field, claiming to work places after the owner passed away.
